The Monodrone 1800 is a high performance Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) designed to survey in especially challenging areas. It is a marine survey capable vessel that can be either remote controlled or operate autonomously. The vessel is capable of sailing in; very shallow water (30 cm depth), high speed currents, complicated coastal zones and inaccessible areas, that proven challenging for classic survey vessels.
Performance, high stability and reliability are key
The Monodrone 1800 represent the LATEST generation of autonomous small scale survey vessels, with a design based on efficient hydrodynamics features and build with state of the art composite materials. This renders the vessel extremely stable even in high seas, while not sacrificing performance nor reliability.
Fast deployment and increase productivity
The remote controlled boat fits with ease in a small van or pick up truck, making it is easy to transport to even the most difficultly accessible areas.
A high level of connectivity
With a powerful telemetry station integrated on board facilitating the transmission of signals to a range of over 2 km, this allows the operator to communicate and validate (in real time) the data acquisition of the survey being performed. The operator is connected to the drone thru any kind of tablet or computer, via this methodology it is possible to define its mission planning and allows the operator to follow the drone position on a dynamic map. The vessel also has the capability to stream live images which allows for the controlling if the vessel safely.
An adaptive multi-sensors autonomous boat
The Monodrone 1800 is an enduring data capturing multi-sensor platform designed to be capable of evolving with a multitude of plug & play sensors installations depending on the need of the operator for their mission.
